BEAUTIFUL CRISP ROSE
2020 Larrosa (14.0%) (Rioja, Spain) $11/$44
This is a beautiful Spanish rose crafted from 100% old-vine Garnacha planted in 1972. It's fresh, elegant and floral, with a dynamic character showing red fruit, herbs and spice. Perfect with shrimp or salmon, or grilled chicken.
REFRESHING DRY WHITE
2020 Calvet Sauvignon Blanc (13.0%) (Haut-Poitou, Val de Loire AOC, France) $10/$40
The limestone, chalk and clay soils of this Loire Valley wine growing region yield a brilliantly refreshing white wine with citrus and herbaceous flavours that make it a wonderful match for shrimp, fish and vegetarian dishes, and a delightfully-uplifting starter sip on its own.
2018 Cave Spring Chardonnay Musqué (13.5%) (VQA Beamsville Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario) $10/$40
This is a rare gem about which Canada can be especially proud, crafted from the distinctive special Musqué clone that adds floral aromatics to the typical Chardonnay citrus, tropical fruit, peach and light vanilla flavours. This is a crisp and refreshing pairing for the appetizers, especially crispy spring rolls and eggrolls, chicken curry sate and of course shrimp tempura. For main courses, this is a compelling match with SEN’s pad thai and chicken and salmon dishes.
2019 Paco & Lola Albariño (Rias Baixas DO, Spain) (13.0%) $11/$44
The gentle appearance of this straw-coloured Spanish beauty belies a complex layering of green apples, pear and lemony aromas with herb and flower blossom notes. It’s a full bodied and refreshing wine that matches well with any of the fish, chicken and vegetable dishes, including the spicier offerings.
2019 Willm Riesling Réserve (12.5%) (Alsace, France) $10/$40
True to the Alsace wine making tradition, this is a crisp extra dry style white. Given Riesling’s natural complexity, this wine delightfully aligns with SEN’s shrimp dishes, as well as the tasty-rich dumplings, pork belly and Korean style wing appetizers. It’s also a natural with any of the shrimp or chicken main dishes, especially the pineapple-graced and ginger-flavoured stir-fry offerings.
2018 Aurelia Vişinescu Tamâioasa Româneasca (12.5%) (Dealu Mare DOC, Romania) $10/$40
The grape in this wine is believed to have originated in Greece and has been used in wine making for more than 2,000 years. An aromatic wine with peach, orange and honey tones, it has a hint of sweetness that brings out the full glory of spicy foods like General Tso’s chicken and coconut curry stir fry.
2018 Domanie de I'Idylle "Anne de Chypre" Roussette (13.5%) (Roussette de Savoie AOC, France) $12/$48
Also known as Altesse, the Roussette grape is believed to have been brought to the Savoie region when Anne de Chypre (Cyprus) became Duchess of Savory. This is one of our most exciting finds of recent years. The refreshing spice, pear and melon flavours of this gorgeous wine are sublime matches for all SEN's small plates and chicken, fish and shrimp dishes. A five star treat!

2018 Rock Point Pinot Noir (Rogue River, Oregon) (13.0%) $10/$40

2019 Beronia Tempranillo (14.0%) (Rioja DOC, Spain) $10/$40
Here’s a magical match for SEN’s Vietnamese specialty—bò lúc lǎc (filet mignon with shitake mushrooms). Also superb with steak teriyaki or even on its own. You’ll just love this elegant northern Spanish wine that yields generous layers of berry fruit flavours, cedar and spices.
2017 Casa Dea Cabernet Franc (12.4%) (VQA Prince Edward County, Ontario) $11/$44
Cabernet Franc is the spicy backbone element of classic Bordeaux red wines, and this delightfully firm wine from the rapidly up-and-coming Prince Edward County wine region offers alluring blueberry, dark cherry and oak toast flavours that will bring out the best of SEN’s red meat dishes, especially the Bò Tái Chanh beef carpaccio appetizer and the grilled beef and basil beef mains.
2018 Bollato di Guarini Grand Cuvée Negroamaro/Primitivo (14.0%) (IGP Puglia, Italy) $10/$40
This classic southern Italy star features a beautiful integration of traditional Negroamaro grapes (70%) with Primitivo (30%)—the latter known as Zinfandel in California. The fragrance, power and blackberry notes of this full-bodied red allows it to perfectly complement flavourful meat dishes, including SEN’s specialty Bún Chá Hà Nöi grilled pork meat ball in fish sauce appetizer.
2018 Perez Cruz “Reserva” Cabernet Sauvignon (13.5%) (D.O. Valle de Maipo, Chile) $10/$40
